FOLLOW YOUR HEART

Follow your heart?? Love story? No!

Always do what your heart beats for. Over the past two years I have developed strong love-for photography, Skin care regime and natural hair and I must admit that it has been the most learning and teaching experience for me.I remember one day going for a photo-shoot for the sake of Facebook update, little did my pictures started getting likes and nice comments.

I remember how I used to be shy about myself the way I looked, my structure and so much more. I disliked how I looked and admired other girls whom to me I thought were more beautiful and had defined skin than me.

Slowly I developed some love for myself and embraced the person I was created by God and that His image is beautiful because He created us in His own likeness and image.

To make the long story short. I started this journey on my new page called My Hair My Pride to share with all races, color, women, men and children on how to be proud in your own natural given hair . I share tips, maintenance and regimes for natural hair. and look beautiful in it. YELLOW SUMMER

Today I woke up in the Morning very happy and thanked my God for giving me opportunity to see another day and with good health.
Hello my lovelies hope your Monday is bright and lovely as you are. Am also well in the Lord and His grace is always sufficient over my life. I pray that our good Lord may guide and protect us in our daily activities. with all that is happening in our country let us just be thankful and pray that the Lord may intercede for us and overcome what is going on.

Today's blog is all about LYT( Little Yellow Dress) I find this dress very chic and comfortable wearing it. The dress is a must have wardrobe essential for any lady as it does not cost much money and pairing it. Enjoy the pictures below and let me know what I should do next on the blog.
Cheers and blessed week ahead.

VOICE FOR THEM

Hey,
Happy new year my "lovelies" I know its late to wish you happy new but better late than never.
Hope you are all doing well by God's Grace for we are nothing without Him.
Please have a look at my post and feel free to comment below on the comment section below. Have a wonderful weekend.

I strolled down the streets of the city. The lights looked beautiful, the stars looked just perfect. I knew it was late but sort of I had nowhere else to go to. I had already scheduled the event for the children’s home with the girls. The main donor for the whole charity project had just turned me down, a bunch of street kids at one room house in need of help, I felt hopeless. The kids were probably never going to make it there, and I must have been crazy to start the whole thing in the first place.
There was this particular baby girl I had an interest in. she did not have much to say about her parents, only that mom told her.
“Atamwendesha kwa ndege”.
She came looking frail had no absolute idea of what a daddy is. she explained,”Mamangu aliniambia nikiwa na Wajomba wengi sihitaji baba”.
She kept talking about her dream throughout the whole visit.
She promised me a gift after the visit, and I was damn curious to see it.
The children were happy, they had no absolute idea there was lack from their providers, all they cared about was the safe roof over their head and what they would eat. They looked clean not exactly poshed, jovial for I could not spoil them, they felt assured of safety from the big guys in the streets of Nairobi. I could not give them a big cozy bed but they felt warmer than the cold breeze of Nairobi. I felt satisfied, challenged to reach out to more of them.
I opened the piece of paper handed to me,
Maisha yangu ingekuwa kama movie, ningepata babangu, niendeshe ndege.
If my life was a cinema, and would my tickets sell out, I would win an award, would the reviews matter, or they would overrule it.
I know if it was my wish I would want to make the kids in the streets happy.
With determination, I called up the next investor I found online.
“Excuse me.”
